Admirable Athlete: Fellow DFT teammate Trish Downing. Trish and I have done a lot of racing together and I admire how focused and dedicated she is. She has taught me a lot about getting through difficult races and challenges.
Unique Info or Story: I once answered an ad in the CSU newspaper calling for “wild women” and wound up training to climb the three volcanoes in Mexico (up to 22,000ft) and I had never even done a 14er. My fiancé Paul and I decided to try biathlon this year and I love it for off season cross training. I can’t much shoot the targets but I can ski the penalty loops pretty fast.
