Home Town: Salt Lake City, Utah

Current Residence: Lakewood, CO

Age: 50

Education: BS ME Brigham Young University

Occupation: VP of Product Technology, IP officer

Status: Married, 5 children, 1 grandchild.

Discipline: Distance Road Cycling

Strength: Still looking, TBD

2008 Goals: Triple Bypass in 7:30, Bob Cook in 2:40

Favorite Event: Triple Bypass

Admirable Athlete: Deena Kastor (after watching her come from way behind to win the Olympic Marathon Trials)

Unique Story: Took up cycling after ACL tear to strengthen knee and never stopped. 2008 will be my 13 consecutive TBP on my way to 20+.

Most Embarrassing moment: During my second TBP, I was drafting off my father-in-law (age 62 at the time) up I70 at a swift speed approaching 7 mph. He slipped on the gravel, went down and I crashed right over the top of him. Neither was injured and bikes were fine, so we finished with severely damaged egos intact.
