Unique information or story about you
:

I started spinning classes with Megan last January (2007) primarily for fitness and to be able to go on longer bike rides (pleasure rides). I am an avid yoga fan and skiing/hiking enthusiast, but the dramatic increase in fitness and overall well-being due to spinning and cycling is amazing. I am hooked! I have not participated in any races and my only race plan for 2008 is Tri for the Cure. But you never know what the future holds, especially with Megan’s support and enthusiasm.

I have a new job as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. Prior to that I was an environmental consultant; which entailed too many hours and a lot of travel. My family consists of my husband John (also bitten by the cycling bug, he now has 2 bikes), a 14 year old son, 16 year old daughter and a 23 year old daughter (on her own, finally and working in her field!). As the kids get older it has been especially nice to have more time to spend with my husband and pursue this new sport that we both love!

I am excited about being on the team, maybe participating in some "old lady races" and cheering on everyone as they pursue their goals.

Most embarrassing (race/training) moment: stopping and falling over because my feet were still clipped in the pedals.

Results/achievements I am proud of:
Surviving Megan’s spinning classes this last year.
