Education: Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from University of Oklahoma
Occupation: Meteorologist at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder, CO
Discipline: Road (specialize in Crits) & Cyclo-Cross
Strengths: Sprints, Team Work
Former Teams: Twin Peaks Racing, Golden, CO
Category: 3 Road, Category: 4 Cyclo-Cross
Years Racing: 3
Objectives: To get to the next level of competitive racing, i.e.
Category 2; To collaborate well with my fellow teammates both on and off
the bike.
Favorite Race: Ft. Collins Crit
Admirable Athlete: Katie Compton; Katie started racing as a para-legic tandem rider due to a leg condition, a condition which causes great pain in her muscles. Despite her condition, she competes at the national and international level in one of the most difficult cycling disciplines...cyclo-cross. She has such great physical and mental power
to keep her going strong. I always read her tips in magazines on how she became successful and it is very motivational.
Unique Info or Story: Don't really have one yet...but will share soon:)!
Most embarrassing: I would have to go with just crashing (not that I do
it often...just happens sometimes) in general, especially in front of
spectators.
