There's more to racing than just road racing!

Our team includes several women who devote their entire season to other disciplines like triathlon, duathlon, cyclocross, and mountain bike racing -- and we highlight these women and their accomplishments here!

What is "triathlon?"  Swim, bike and run, ranging from sprint distance to Ironman!

Duathlon is the same format as triathlon, it just skips the swim and starts with the bike portion!

What is "cyclocross?"  An obstacle course of sand, mud, dirt, barriers, often standing water and it's during the winter months (Oct-Dec) so it's usually cold, rainy and snowy!!   You have to see it to truly appreciate its difficulty and the misery of the conditions!

What does "mountain bike racing" entail?  Most races are "cross-country" races, meaning single track, fire roads, some fields, rocky climbs and descents, mountain-top finishes and just plain gnarly terrain that riders have to navigate.  First person to the line wins - unless it's a 12 or 24 hour endurance MTB race, in which case the rider is racing to cover as much ground as possible.
