Objectives:
I started riding mountain bikes in Florida in 2002. I decided to start racing that same year just for the fun of it and
realized my passion for it. Most people still don't understand how someone can mountain bike in Flroida since there are "no
mountains". But they don't realize how technical it can get. Unfortunately the women's
field in Florida isn't very big and after one of the hurricanes swept my home course away i finally decided
to concentrate more on the road. I started racing road in 2006 and ended up having a great season not only on the road but in the MTB
Florida State series as well.

I moved out to Colorado last October and decided to do the mountain state cup series. Being in a whole new environment, I was
nervous racing out here but was excited to experience new trails and ended up meeting some amazing people. I was surprised how much
different the trails were. Lots of climbing, of course, but not very technical. I ended up having an amazing season again but it made
me realize how much i missed racing road.

For 2009 I will continue to do both road and mountain bike, but will definitely be concentrating more on the road. I am excited to be
part of such experienced and talented women as this team. And look forward to working well together and having another amazing
season!
